Can you tell me the name of song in the end? It sound like more rock version of game theme?

The iron sword isn't specifically for killing people as some monster are weak to iron as they are silver

I've used this video as a demo in my video game history chronicle @ nouw.com/player1. I also credited your channel. Please contact me here, my channel or through my site if you want me to remove it.

Guys…seriously…occasionally both The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2 are on sale on Steam/GOG for stupid prices…i recently bought both for 2 euros!!! BOTH!!! 1 Euro each!
Give them both a shot, possibly before playing The Witcher 3..it's sooo worth it

Will Witcher enhanced edition run with a higher directX then 9.29 and will it run with windows 8.1?

Finally started playing this game now, all these years later. Have to say I'm blown away by how much it still entertains me. Actually it reminds me a lot of the first Mass Effect in terms of the way it holds up today.

Only 38 hours? I'm in chapter 4 now and I have 50 hours of gameplay so far! Of course I am doing every side quest and all other stuff.

38 hours to complete the game and the majority of the sidequests?
Either I'm really fucking slow, or something's fucky.
Granted, I played on Hard, and I'm not a great player, I just enjoy challenges, so I guess that added some time.
But I ended up playing the game for 75 hours before I was done.
I do tend to take my time though, reading everything I can find, and running around in panic afraid of missing some little nugget of info or sidequest.
Just out of curiosity, how long does it take for other ppl to finish this game?
I know this is an old video, but maybe someone will answer 🙂
And also, I fucking loved this game, just finished it for the first time(I know, I'm late to the party, but there's so many games I need to play!) currently downloading The Witcher 2 from Steam, color me exited.

Bought it for 2 dollars on steam, no lie. Haven't played it yet but def planning on it after I'm done with fallout 4

I've never played a wicher ame but I've always been aware of the series. When Wild Hunt came out I noticed the amount of hype and positive feedback it's been getting. I'm intrigued about the witcher series now. Should I really get into playing it?

I absolutely LOVE this game, loving it since I was 14 and the game came out. I cannot possibly understand how anyone can bash it because of the graphics or whatever… like what the fuck, for a 2007 game, this looks sexy af. People, just dont skip on this beautiful piece of work. In 2007 it was THE game and now people are just aholes

I really want to play this and the witcher 2 before 3 is out for maximum immersion, but this looks so outdated I don't think I can stomach it

Can someone please shed some light on something for me? I must not be googling correctly.

Can someone please tell me whose voice actors got changed in the time between the downloadable demo and the Enhanced Edition? I started with the demo, and carried my progress over after I bought the full version. My first time replaying from the beginning was today, and for some reason, the English voices and the delivery sound completely foreign to me… Well, not literally, but you know what I mean.

Just started this game. Bought The Witcher 2 and then found out you can import your saved file. When I found that out, I had to buy and play the first one. I love games where you can import save files.

I haven't gotten too far. Just not finished with the prologue yet, but I can see the potential. The combat is pretty lame, but from everything I've heard, the story makes up for that. And from the few minutes I played of the sequel, the graphics get a huge upgrade.

Looking forward to playing through this series. By the time I finish the second one, the third one will be out and I have a pretty good rig so I'll be able to play with high settings.

My only draw back is MK X and GTA V come out pretty soon (on the same day, no less) and I'm also in the middle of Dragon Age: Inquisition. So many games, not enough time.

i just bought the enhaced edition, but im having a hard time getting into the game idk why…

This is a hard game to enjoy for me. The game has a lot going for it, but the pacing, backtracking, menu/alchemy/inventory design all make it really hard to notice. I really want to get into this, but im inches away from just watching the story on youtube and getting right into witcher 2…

Oh ya the time… you need to walk around to find place to rest and you dont know what time you need … 18:00 to 19:30 … and its the evening lol i think evening is 17:00 to 22:00 and thats how the game things most of the time but some qests u have to wate for all the time or just walk more back and forth :/

  18. Kristaps Rieznieks 6 July, 2020 at 08:09 Reply

    It is awfull but good…
It seams awfull at start… then not so bad but… Tooo much walking O_O jesus like walk so so sooo much… deliver me bread … go 15 min to other side of map then go back 15 minutes …. and soo boring the scenery is nonexistant… all the areas are just ugly… the combat is bad but not as bad as it seams at first :/
And then the story…  it is black and white… You are eather a hitler killing elfs and dwarfs or racist killing humans… im serius … back or white… oh ya you can ignote 1/5 of qests and be a neitral and all will hate you… If you side with order… all will say you like to kill elfs and you are like: its not like that… Long live order kill the elfs…

the guy who reviewed this is a moron . the re-used character models where actually the same characters appearing as hallucinations / visions in the last chapter :/ , also , spamming igni only works on the first 2 difficulties , try playing on hard and then review the combat , where you need to use every potion, oil , style , bomb , sign in your arsenal to succeed , not screwing up styles like you did : attacking heavy foes with the fast style . very bad review , done by a clueless player .

witcher fans read this , your eyes will be opened, and you will be outraged.

Is it just me, or is Geralt the James Bond of Mid-evil times. He's a skilled warrior, and gets with all kinds of women, the only difference is he's less charismatic as James Bond. While Geralt does have a sharp tongue, but he isn't a smooth talker as James bond.

There's also the Full Combat Re-balance mod which makes the combat a whole lot enjoyable.
Playing the FCR mod with the hardest difficulty sure didn't make the combat lack strategy 😀
Only that a couple of boss-fights became physically impossible to beat. But I have no shame for using a trainer to get past those parts.
Purists can also justify the FCR mod with that its developer got eventually hired by CD-Project-Red.

I honestly thought the witcher was dumb, the Combat and such was meh,  The bloody lore was kinda odd i mean hey i have roses so aparently chicks wanna do me? ok thanks, hey look where in a cave with a witch and children wait she wants to have sex in the cave with the children? oh look i gotta kill this mob … says my quest tracker but thats not what i gotta do at all first i gotta activate and do a rituol but before that i gotta gather ingreadiants but before that i gotta earn the rituol druids and such trust and BEFORE that i gotta … holy shit the quest tracker was just dumb,  I hated the witcher personaly and think its over-rated.
