What's the best app to use if you don't have a Samsung phone but want to still transfer files wirelessly? It's an Android phone with Oreo 8.0

My note 10+ ARRIVES TODAAAAYY 😊😊😊, Hopefully transfering from note 9 to note 10 plus is a breeze. Thanks for the video jimmy

Does it transfer the mp3 music in the same order as the old phone or does it scramble the music around in differnt order

What you said sir is incorrect. I work in the mobile department at Best buy and I have done several transfers. That is not a big issue so please make sure you have the facts sir. thank you.

Why can't it copy the god damn sign ins as well. It's a pain every time I switch phone. They are retards

It's USB-C to USB-C. There is one of those cables in the box. No need for the dongle at all in this case.

I'm getting this phone tomorrow for a line in my account but I want to use it for a different line. Basically I have 2 lines and I want to swap the new Note 10+ with the other line. Do I need to just do smart switch with both phones then call Verizon and tell them to swap numbers?

Peace, how do I get my secured folder's pic's & videos? I was able to get everything else transferred.

I dont get how theres so many videos of this actually working, I’ve literally never seen it fully download, always pauses at a certain percentage and just sits there forever. It’s a nice welcome to the android world, maybe I should’ve stayed with apple 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

I use foogle apps mire so this do me no good … it only backs up samsung oriented apps. I am about 70-30 google to samsung app usage so 30% is no good unless this switch can also transfer google base apps

There wasn’t any USB adapter that comes with it in the box of my Note 10+ unlike the S8+, S9+ and S10+ which I had seen them all in the box. I was told that the Type C to Type C cable is sufficient for the Wired Smart Switch and I use exactly like that 🙂

So is there any advantages or disadvantages to using the cable or wireless? I'm switching from Note9 to Note10 plus

  13. Ioannis Katsikas 13 July, 2020 at 08:30 Reply

You can use the plain USB c to USB c charging cable of Note 10 to transfer your data from S10+ without the adapter as I did with mine.

Was it wrong that I just used the charging cable with USB c on both sides? I only had 4 apps that didn't transfer over and the rosemary font (both phones note 8 to note 10 are unlocked versions)

Samsung Smart Switch also allowed me to backup my old Samsung phone to the micro-SD card. Then I installed that micro-SD card in the new Note 10+ and restored from the installed card. I found that setting from SETTINGS/ ACCOUNTS/ Samsung

I'm just curious what is left out when you switch over WiFi vs the adapter directly connected to the phones

Hey Jimmy what made you decide to go with the Aura Blue instead of the Aura Glow like most tech reviewers?

Very nicely done. Just unboxed my Note 10+. Going to transfer over my Note 8 settings and files now.
Eagerly awaiting the "First Things" video. Which hopefully will be up later today, as I have to go set up my son's Note 10+ tomorrow. He's switching from an iPhone 7+. Soooooooo, any helpful tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks for all your awesome videos. 🤗
