Hi guys, I need help. I recently bought the new Macbook Pro only 128GB I want to buy an external drive, I just don't know what to buy. Either the LaCie Porsche Design 1TB, or Samsung T3/T5 SSD 500GB. I want to use the drive as extended storage I do understand SSD is better obviously, but it is pricey and you can get HDs with more storage for much cheaper. I will basically be using the drive as sort of a main storage since 128 is essentially nothing, and I was thinking of even partitioning the drive and installing windows (Maybe). So please help, do I really need the SSD or is the LaCie HD good enough? I want to buy either/or ASAP! Thank you!

Save £200 and get a 128GB MacBook Pro and get the Samsung 3T for £120 = more storage overall, or pay £200 and get the 256GB MacBook Pro = less overall storage, but all on one device. Opinions?

Honestly, I just had to stop the video right now and write this comment. Dude the quality of your videos are literally THE BEST here on YouTube. Everything from the lighting to your VOICE is just on point. Better than the the most popular Tech Reviewers out there. Keep up the amazing work. It's a pleasure to watch these videos. They're so clean and I can see the attention & time you have invested into every detail of the video. Again, amazing work man! God bless

Please help me with this. What to choose between external Samsung T3 on USB 3.0 OR internal 850 Evo on SATA II ? ( 500 GB version for both of them. not using my OS on them. just music and regular files). THX !

01:29 "That range in price from $99 all the way up to an "eye watering" $800" – more like "all the way up to a "wrist slitting" $800"

For the one or two people who were wondering… The T3 seems fully compatible with Linux Machines (as of Ubuntu 16.04 at least). The T1 had some issues that seems to have been fixed.

Quick question as somebody who's going to be doing gaming editing on a Mac I noticed that they have very low SSDs around 128 GB so I thought about getting the upgrade version from Samsung like in this video… but my friend said if you are not pushing the 128 to the limit there's no sense in upgrading as in if you delete the footage once you post the video you don't need to have a huge SSD! Thoughts? THANKS
