Samsung Sound Plus MS750 Soundbar – Hands On Review

Samsung latest addition to the Sound+ soundbar line is this, the HW-MS750. It’s very similar to the $400 MS650 soundbar we’ve already reviewed, so is it worth the higher $550 price tag?

As expected, the soundbar sounds almost identical to the slightly smaller MS650, It delivers clear and present midrange and treble detail, and bass that’s respectable for a soundbar by itself. The addition of two up firing drivers expands the soundstage, but don’t mistake this for Dolby Atmos sound.

I've been holding off getting a sound bar because every soundbar demo sounded very thin and not that meaty, I have SVS Ultra bookshelf, JBL Studio 530 and Jamo C97. The MS650 is the first soundbar that sounded thicc enough for movie watching, not sure if the MS750 will be better, as it spreads the sound out and doesnt have Dolby atmos, so it could be a messy sound stage.

I am currently in a decision making process. It is either the HW-K850 bundle or the HW-MS 750 and the Subwoofer (and in case the Soundbar has enough bass i will send the Sub away). Any tipps? A fast response would be cool so that i can buy everything in time for Christmas. Would you say the Soundbar from the HW-K850 bundle is as good as the HW-MS 750 Soundbar? Plus/minus 200$ is not the point. I just want the best sounder set Samsung has to offer that is cheaper than the HW-K950
    Best regards!
