You can replace your smartthings hub with Hubitat Elevation if you're interested in having your devices work during an internet outage.

For the Smart sensor, u get into the room and close the door up, then the light turned off, but ur still in the room. Me: huh?

I do not recommend, they produce products that are designed to be dead ( break) after the warranty

I bought a Samsung smart thing in 2017 , components like Arrival sensor , motion sensor dead after 7 months

Smart thing was on warranty so after about 10 months PC World replace for new one , and again same story month by month components going in offline mode and after 14 months all components are dead .

Samsung support its another funny thing, when I asked about help they send me link to tech support for only £5 a month for the first month then £30/month

Summarising 2 sets of Samsung smart thing dead in one year each , support paid , so waste of money

Do you think it's possible to program the button to send a notification and switch on and broadcast inages from a few cameras, when the cameras are normally muted

    Socket plug work only sometime
Door sensor dead about one year ago ( not it’s not just battery )
Motion sensor work till now but alert it’s all time even if no one at home maybe just ghosts are in my home ?
    Key fob it’s ok
    So for me rubbish

    Hi Tim,
Thanks a lot for the review. I have an important question to ask you before buying samsung wifi mesh network.
I need some devices to be connected wired, such as NAS, PS4, Computer, Streamer and Satellite TV box, how can I do that without a proper router or switch and still have mesh network to cover my house with same wifi SSID ? please help me.
The configuration that I want is full coverage of one SSID wifi of my entire house, then, I want my mentioned devices to be connected as well buy wired, also, I want my security cameras to be connected wired as well.
looking forward to hear from you

I thought the office door sensor should be attached the opposite way…so if someone knocks on the door the larger sensor will sense the vibration.

Its getting better, but darn if it always fall short. There are no widgets for the new app. It doesn't work with some sensors (which are much cheaper). There is ALWAYS something missing in home automation.

Hello Tim. A question please. Do I still need to purchase the smart things hub if I want to purchase the smart things devices that work with my Phillips Hue Bridge? Navy thanks.

Overall a good video but the comment about putting the location sensor in luggage I recommend clarifying to say put in non-flying luggage or unchecked bags as lithium batteries are banned from checked luggage in airplanes.
