    Thank you for mentioning TR2013. Was it ground breaking, genre defining, profound, or without significant weak points? Nope. But I still just had a ton of fun with it. Lara's character growth felt so earned and satisfying, and the big action set pieces were absurd and over the top in just the right ways.

    M personal top 10: (Not necessarily the best, but just ones that made the biggest impression on me out of what I played.)

    1. Undertale
    2. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
    3. Portal 2
    4. Journey
    5. Tomb Raider
    6. Firewatch
    7. Mass Effect 2
    8. Cities Skylines
    9. Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps
    10. This War of Mine

    My favs of the decade are
    Dishonored series, both main games and stand alone dlc are terrific
    The Last Of Us, but specifically on survival mode, normal is just another action game with good story
    Hyper Light Drifter, just loved it, perfect little game
    Celeste, another indie darling, perfect in every aspect
    I've spend A LOT of time with Into the Breach, it's so good
    Dragon Quest XI gave me some good emotions, the feeling of going on an adventure in this game is absolutely delightful
    Was Ni no Kuni this decade? That was another great jrpg, gotta love it
    OMFG Catherine was released in 2011, Catherine is a GEM and everyone has to play it
    Doom was fun
    I've never finished it but gotta say Dark Souls for all the influence it has on the gaming industry. I would say Demon's Souls 'cause I've played it a lot more and actually finished it, but that game was released in 2009 and I'm not gonna argue, Dark Souls is way more popular.
    So yeah, that's my top 10 games. In no particular order, but keep in mind, Catherine is the least popular and one of the best games from this list, go play it now.

    I've only gotten into gaming in recent years, so my list may be a little inexperienced, but here ya go (in no particular order):

    * The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (my very first Zelda game <3)
    * The Last of Us
    * Inside
    * Super Mario Galaxy 2
    * Stardew Valley
    * Little Nightmares
    * Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled
    * Dead by Daylight (glitchy as hell, but I love that game)
    * Resident Evil 7
    * Bloodbourne

    And more because I'm indecisive and cant decide what to get rid of in my list:

    * Outlast
    * Celeste

    Arlo, I feel the reason that you don't enjoy some games (hence why they aren't on this list), is because you don't have opposable thumbs. But, never fear, I happen to have a few handy that I can donate if you so desire!

    I watch your video about breath of the wild. I found many flaws of your about breath of the wild is very minor. For example your opinion about gyro puzzles are completely wrong. Yes motion controls are not as good for controls but most of the puzzles are very good.

    I've played 50% of these games and wholeheartedly agree that they are fantastic games. (inside is brilliant)

    1) Dwarf Fortress
    2) Distant Words (Codeforce)
    3) Xcom 2 (with WotC)
    4) OOTP Baseball – 18 was probably the best
    5) Factorio
    6) Disgaea 5 (One of only 2 reasons I own a PS4)
    8) Cogmind
    9) MLB The Show (The other reason I own a PS4)
    10) Rimword

    Special mentions to Kenshi, Dominions 5, Prison Architect, Anno 1800, Duskers, Endless Space 2, Rise to Ruins, Darkest Dungeon, Football Manager 2015 and AC:Odyssey

    Those games (according to Steam and PS Network and excepting Dwarf Fortress which still isn't released on Steam yet) represent over 80% of all my play time in the last 10 years
    Dwarf Fortress is easily 10% of the missing 20%.
    Dunno why I waste money on so many other games I just don't play. BotW is my number one Switch game – but with less than 30 hours played – that isn't saying much.
    Might get the latest Animal Crossing game???
