Does it mess with your computers' volume? :/ My computer's volume goes down but when I disconnect, the volume is back to normal.

Nice I didn't know that Samsung supported these features. But my preference will stay with "Vysor" (for all android phones)

Amazing video! Thanks, I alredy used Your Telephone, but it has extra features and is a good complement. Keep up the good work!

I have been using note series (since note4) for a long time, and Samsung's subtle ideas have always liked it. Definitely in terms of functionality far ahead of apple. Whatever I'm interested in from samsung, I find the reviews of all of them here. Moreover, you are not boring at any time. I like your energy. Keep going like that.

Came upon your channel serendipitously and was impressed / educated twofold: 1. I'd never heard of Samsung Flow despite having a menagerie of their devices; 2. your rapid and articulate exposition explained the productivity gains to be had from using it. Thank you.

year later, and FLow is still not as good as Sidesync was 3 years ago. I'm really sad they killed sidesync for flow, and it's not nearly as useful

  11. Pradip Chitrakar 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

samsung flow just sucks. SideSync just worked perfect before flow. Why mess with something that already works 😠

I like Samsung flow and it works well with my new Samsung A20 android phone- but – when I am connected to Samsung Flow, it eventually turns my phone screen display brightness down to zero which is very frustrating. The display screen doesn't dim down at all when I am disconnected from Samsung Flow. I have tried all the settings I am aware of without luck. Has this happened to you?

It seems like this is the replacement for Samsung sidesync. I enjoyed sidesync so much, but it doesn't go past the s8 for compatibility.

Great review! This is so much better than the mircosoft Your Phone app, and it doesn't even force you to log in with a skynet account to make use of it.

Awesome content and very well presented. Side note the mole or whatever it is near your neck kept making me think I have something on my screen haha

It would be pretty nice, if you could do a comparison between Samsung Flow and the new Link to Windows😀

  17. G SAU 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

You didn't mention, but I'm pretty sure Samsung flow only works with Windows 10. Too bad for those who prefer to stick with the non spy version of windows, version 7. Since ONE UI 2 update, have been using Samsung DeX on Win7 with a Note9 using a standard USB cable. Allows full phone functionality. Forget Aunt Flow, DeX is the go.

You said that you didn't like that you couldn't turn your screen completely off while using Samsung Flow, what if you don't want your screen to dim at all? I'm trying to keep my screen on while switching apps through Flow streaming to my tablet. It works great but everyone I switch an app or menu my phone screen dims, do you know of a way to prevent this?

i dont get it. what does this do better then its predecessor sidesync? sidesync had more features. like turn off your phonescreen to save electricity. now those are gone and i cant even download sidesync from google play store anymore. thats no update its a downdate….

  21. T Gideon 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

There is no way to go back once you use an app in smart view for those phones without the home, back and minimize on the screen.

  22. ivorysteele 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

I think I know why people use iphone and apple products. These things just work on apple products

  23. infonator07 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

And such a basic thing like USB Screen Mirroring is not there while it was in SideSync. Plus Flow likes to break… A lot of stuff (making game items transparent for example).
Sadly, in Europe there is another problem with Samsung selling their products with Exynos chips which have a little bit of Wifi stability issues, so mirror screen over Wifi is not gonna work for a long time before app starts yelling about Wifi connection being unstable -.-
Never had those problems with USB.

  24. All Prophit 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

I feel like this is a downgrade to side sync. You can use usb connection and the screen is off to name a few things. Though I'm on a note 8 and had read samsung discontinuing compatibility for it

  25. Steve Kassel 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

On my new Sam notebook 9 pro it had me install an app called"your phone" during setup to sync and do all this with my galaxy 10+

Can you do a comparison video of these 3 Samsung apps? Samsung Flow vs Samsung Dex vs Windows Phone app for Samsung

  27. Jim H 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

Good Video … but I use "your phone" app in windows… one of the advantages is that you can dial and use the phone with the app … Samsung flow does not allow you to use the phone features. as far as file transfers I use dropbox so that is never an issue.

  28. Dave Nutter 12 July, 2020 at 21:44 Reply

Great review. I use Samsung Flow with my S10+ and Windows 10 PC, and it's so convenient. What program are you running to have that transparent system widget on the left monitor?
